Grace Valentine is an independent Brooklyn based artist whose music exists at the intersection of vulnerability, experimentation and storytelling. As a self-proclaimed rapper, they are blending elements of alternative rock into their work with their upcoming EP, Sik Demos, offering a sound that is both grounding and unsettling.

Sonically, Grace moves fluidly through genres and their sound changes based on what is inspiring them in the moments they are writing. Influences range from 90's alternative and post-punk to modern experimental hip hop and atmospheric R&B. Grace explores themes of identity, heartbreak, mental health, and the internal conflict of wanting connection while fearing it.

After initially gaining visibility through modeling, Grace has been shifting their focus toward music, using their platform to build a more autonomous artistic presence. Recording primarily from home, they write and produce much of their work independently, allowing for an unfiltered creative process rooted in personal expression.

Visually, Grace is building an identity that places them in a universe reminiscent of a dreamscape. Just like their music, their visuals have an air of uncanny nostalgia — the viewer is left thinking, I feel like I've been here before, but I know I've never seen something quite like this. Time is not linear, rather time is warped by our perceptions of what came before.
